Degnan on TV: Governor Doyle Visits Our Kitchen Remodeling

Governor Doyle recently visited one of Degnan Design Builders remodeling jobs. We were conducting a Home Performace with Energy Star post-test to evaluate our success in improving the energy efficiency of the home during a kitchen remodeling. The remodeling was a success, as was the energy improvement: We reduced the air infiltration into the house by over 20%!

Abe J Degnan Earns CGB Designation

Abe J. Degnan of Degnan Design Builders Inc. in DeForest, Wisconsin recently earned the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) designation, identifying him as one of the top 2000 professional builders nationwide.

Administered by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) University of Housing, the CGB program is sponsored locally by the Madison Area Builders Association (MABA) through the Wisconsin Builders Assocation (WBA) CGBs earn the building industry’s premier professional designation by successfully completing an intensive series of testing and six-hour courses. The CGB curriculum incorporates training by leading building industry practitioners and academics on a range of topics, including business management, emerging technologies and market trends. After earning CGB credentials, program graduates are required to maintain their designation through completion of additional coursework annually.
